Where are we?

When we say we're "in the heart of Dunblane" its because thats exactly where we are...

How to get here:

By Foot: You can't miss the cathedral at the top of High Street in Dunblane, we are the row of white and stone cottages just opposite.

By Bicycle: Dunblane is a brilliant day’s ride from Glasgow or Edinburgh along canal paths, disused railway lines and rural roads.  There are scenic quiet roads and off track routes that will take you into the amazing countryside surrounding us.  You are welcome to use our secure Sheffield bicycle racks around the back of the restaurant to store your bike during your stay.

By Train: We’re on the main railway route through Scotland, it’s just 5hr 40mins by train from central London, 1hr from Edinburgh, 40mins from Glasgow, 30 mins from Perth and 15 mins to Gleneagles.

Trains run all day long in and out of Dunblane, just jump off and follow the signs for the cathedral, we're just opposite.  The local station provides great access for local walking and cycling excursions to Bridge of Allan (4 mins), Stirling (7 mins), Linlithgow (20mins), many other stops between Edinburgh and Glasgow, and north to Gleneagles and Perth. National Rail website

By Bus: The Scottish Citylink M8 stops on the Perth Road, just a couple of minutes stroll from Old Churches House.  Local buses are useful for visiting places off the railway network, including; Crieff, Doune, Callander, Stirling University, the Hillfoots and Fife.

By Car: If you can't come by the above means, see the map to the left or use FK15 0AN in your sat nav, Dunblane is just 6 miles north of Stirling at the end of the M9. Follow signs for the cathedral, we are the row of white and stone cottages just opposite. There is free parking on the street outside or in the large cathedral car park - please respect our neighbours when parking.

Airports: The three nearby airports offer domestic and international flights.

Edinburgh Airport: It is a 45 minute drive from the airport to Dunblane along the M9.  A regular Airlink bus will take you into the centre of Edinburgh to catch a train (60 mins) to Dunblane.

Glasgow Airport: It is a 50 minute drive from the airport to Dunblane along the M8 and M9.  There is a Shuttle bus (25 mins) to Glasgow Queen St station and then train (40 mins) to Dunblane.
